Tournament Format

• 7 Reload Matches over 3 hours (with a mid-event food break)
• Solo, Zero Build format – No teammates, no builds, just raw skill
• Reload Mode: 2 reboots per match (until cutoff timer)

  • Victory Royale = 15 points
  • 2nd Place = 10 points
  • 3rd Place = 5 points
  • Eliminations = 1 point each

We are so happy to announce our first Fortnite tournament of 2025. We’ve got an exciting Fortnite event planned for you with a Solo Build Reload competition featuring 5 custom matches. Players will receive points for eliminations and placement. The top 3 highest scores will receive cash prizes and medals.

This tournament will feature Reload, which has 2 maps that rotate every 30 minutes. Players will be matched against only the other players in the tournament. This format will be very exciting because in Reload each player get 2 reboots or extra lives so that they can push the action and have a lot of fun. No need to camp or sit around waiting for the endgame when you’ve got extra lives to use.

The custom matches will be played using our Fortnite Creator Code: YesGaming. Please help support the gaming center and streams by using the code for any Vbuck purchases or Epic store buys. Thanks!

Players will be in 5 custom matches. Each match will be scored with 1 point per elimination and the following placement points.

We are hyped to announced our next Fortnite open tournament in our 2024 season. This event will be for Solo Build players. We will be doing a new format for this event that we are very excited to prepare and host for you. This event will feature custom matchmaking for the players in this event only. Yes, you will be playing against the other gamers in the tournament and NOT open matchmaking. Really excited to announce our next Fortnite Solo Zero Build Open tournament on Saturday December 16th from 1pm – 4pm. The winner of this event will be guaranteed a top cash prize of $50. Top 3 will earn medals and cash winnings. $15 entry fee for all players with a 3 hour play window.

Frosty Fortnite Cash Prizes:

• 1st Place = $50 + medal
• 2nd Place = $25 + medal
• 3rd Place = $15 + medal

This will be based on Fortnite Ranked Cup rules for placement and eliminations. Players must signed into their own accounts and have to be at least level 20. Gamers can play on PC or consoles but replays have to be on to verify results. We are hoping this will be our biggest Fortnite event so far. This event will be available to all ages and will include cash prizes and medals for the top 3 teams. The event will be played on Saturday June 24, 2023 at 2pm. Walk-in registration and free play starts at 1pm. To participate in this tournament there will be an entry fee of $15 per person or $30 per team.

We will have single registration in case players don’t have a teammate. Each player needs to register individually. Players must play on their own EPIC account and must be at least level 20. This event will be played locally so each game can be verified for placement and elimination points.

Fortnite Tournament Scoring & Rules

The tournament will be played based on the Fortnite Duos Cash Cup rules and scoring format.

Format: Open Match Play on Battle Royale Duos Builds.

For this Duos Builds Open, each game session will last approximately three (3) hours. Players may participate in a maximum of ten (10) matches during a Duos Build Open session. Players will earn points based on the scoring system listed above. Matches for a Duos Build Open session will count only if the match begins before such session window closes.

Tiebreakers will be determined in the order presented here: (1) total points scored; (2) total Victory Royales in the session; (3) average eliminations in the session; (4) average placement per match in the session; and finally (5) total seconds survived across all matches.

Scoring System: Duos Builds

At the conclusion of the applicable Duos Build Open sessions, the top 3 point earning teams will be declared the winners.

Things couldn’t be hotter right now. With the heat kicking up and sun staying out, it’s time to drop-in for some of the hottest game action around. Fortnite couldn’t be more exciting than it’s been. With recent announcements like Fortnite in the Olympics and the new Rank system that includes both Builds and now Zero Builds, things are really getting into place for this game to continue to dominate the gaming landscape and Esports world here in the US for years to come.

No better time than now to see who is the best Fortnite player in Indiana as we host our first tournament of the season. This will be a Zero Build competition for solos and will be held on Memorial weekend Saturday May 27, at 1pm live in-person at YES! Gaming in Fishers, IN.
